This is the brains of your system. It will be located by your primary point of entry so you can easily arm/disarm the system. The control panel will connect to your WiFi for transmission of alarm signals to our monitoring facility. It will need to be plugged in for power and come with a backup battery in case power is lost. The panel is set up to be desk mounted or can be wall mounted if preferred.
Some prefer to have the control panel mounted to a wall which takes a little more time but looks really nice when completed. The only requirement is that there needs to be a power outlet located below where the panel is to be mounted. Our expert installers can then hide the power wire in your wall so all you will see is the transformer plugged into the outlet.

The motion sensor is the best way to protect large interior areas of your home with a minimal number of devices. One sensor has an approximate range of 40 feet. Because the detection angle is 90 degrees, these sensors are typically mounted in a corner so they view down both walls. TIP: Motion sensors and pets, such as cats and dogs, typically don’t get along and will result in false alarms. If you have pets, we may need to get creative in where we locate a motion sensor to avoid false alarms or consider other devices for protecting your home.
This is a motion sensor with a bonus feature, a built in camera that records a short clip when it detects an alarm. Note, the camera only activates when the motion detector senses activity AND the system is armed. The clip is stored for you to view it in the mobile app, Total Connect. This device makes it much easier for you to determine what caused an alarm.

These modules can be used to remotely control your lamps (or other devices) based on schedules you create through the alarm system, or you can manually control them through the alarm system and app. They can even turn on/off based on a trigger from your alarm system such as arming your system will cause all of the lamp modules to turn off.
