    Your new Access system will be connected to your network to allow for communication with the management software hosed on Security Central's secure servers. This approach allows for you as the end user to maintain full control of your system without the need for your to provide a dedicated server and software platform to manage. Additionally it allows for Security Central to provide remote support of the programming when needed. The information that you provide in that tab will give us the ability to connect your system to the management software.
  • Communication Method

    There are two different options for the network connection: Direct TCP and Reverse TCP. For Direct TCP (which is what we recommend where possible), we will require a public IP address for your control panel. We do not need the entire IP, really just TCP ports 443 and 3001. Port 443 can absolutely be translated, however 3001 cannot. The primary advantage to Direct TCP is that is a more stable connection. It also allows us to fail over between our redundant networks - if for any reason our primary nertwork went down, you wouldn't even notice.

    For Reverse TCP we do not require anything beyond the 1 private side address for our control panel - we will assign public IPs and ports and poke holes in our firewall to allow the panels to "phone home" to us. This solution works very well for customers that either do not have available static public IP addresses that we can use, or don't have an IT department that can take care of the address translations or port forwarding (though again I would recommend Direct TCP where possible). As we are using our public address space for this method, there is an additional charge for Reverse TCP of $15/month.
  • A public IP address is required for Direct TCP. We do not require the entire IP address, just TCP ports 443, 3001, 9999. These will either need to be translated/forwarded to the private side address or the public IP will need to be loaded directly into the panel.
  • Network Infomation

    This page is for the doors that are on your system. You can label the doors what you want them to be called (such as front door, IT room door, etc) and if it will have an unlocking schedule. If there is an unlocking schedule simply list the time frame and days to which it applies.

    Please provide a list of employees who need an access card to gain entry. You will be asked to provide first and last name of the employee, identify the access level they should be granted, and the Card ID number assigned to them (If Security Central is providing you with cards please leave the Card Number field blank.)
  • Accepted file types: xlsx, Max. file size: 32 MB.
  • This form is designed to provide a framework setup for your system but you may need more customization than a form allows. For example, you may need more than just a weekday and weekend schedule. If any of the pre-defined fields do not fully meet your needs please let us know by writing your request in the box below.
