Following is a partial list of everyday security equipment used by Security Central in both residential and commercial security applications. Many additional products are available to meet the individual needs of each security installation.

		Audio Glass Break Detector Detects window glass breaking by listening for the specific sound frequency patterns that are created when glass shatters.
		CCTV Camera Provides indoor and outdoor surveillance, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
		CCTV Digital Recorder Stores your CCTV video images on a digital hard drive to allow viewing directly from the unit or remotely through your computer network or the internet.
		Card Readers Controls access to buildings and other restricted areas by requiring a valid card to be presented to unlock the door.
		Cellular Transmitter Utilizes the cellular telephone network to communicate alarm signals to the monitoring facility.
		Control Panel Houses the Central Processor Unit (CPU), wiring terminations, and back-up battery.
		Door Contact Sensor Detects the position of a door (open or closed).
		Heat Detector Detects a rapid rise in temperature or an abnormally high temperature caused by fire.
		Keypad Allows system user to view and control the status of the security system.
		Motion Detector Detects movement in the protected area by utilizing Passive Infrared (PIR) technology or a combination of Passive Infrared and Microwave technologies.
		Security Screen A window screen that has been modified to provide a protective barrier to the window opening via a “trip wire” that is built into the screen mesh to detect the screen mesh being cut and a tamper sensor in the frame that detects the screen being removed from the window opening.
		Smoke Detector Detects the presence of smoke caused by fire.
		Temperature Sensor Detects temperatures that are above or below the designated normal range.
		Water Sensor Detects the presence of water to indicate a water leak, sump pump failure, etc.
		Window Contact Sensor Detects the position of a window (open or closed).
		Wireless Transmitter A small, low-powered radio transmitter that sends alarm information to the Control Panel CPU via radio frequency transmission much like your cordless phone. Wireless transmitters are used when it is not possible to run a wire between the CPU and a detection device.
