1.How does Security Central compare to other alarm companies? Most alarm companies offer the same equipment manufactured by a few major companies. The difference is how the equipment is installed, serviced, and monitored. As a local, full-service company, we offer a level of personalized attention and service that large companies can’t do to the huge number of customers, cities, and states that they serve. Yet we are large enough to have the staff and equipment to deliver the 24-hour a day services that the small companies can’t. 2.What happens if I trip my alarm accidentally? When we receive an alarm signal, the first step we take is to attempt to verify whether an emergency truly exist. We will call your designated phone number(s) to allow you the opportunity to tell us it was an accident. We will ask for your password to verify that it really is you we are speaking to. If we receive that proper password, then we know it is not a true emergency and no further action is needed.
3.How long does it take Security Central to respond to my alarm? Alarm systems today transmit signals to our monitoring facility in approximately 15 – 30 seconds. Our first response typically occurs within 30 seconds from the time we receive that signal. So we are usually responding to your alarm within a minute from the time it was triggered.
4.How many customers does Security Central have? We currently serve thousands of residential and commercial customers in the Denver-Metro area. We are proud to be one of the largest full-service alarm companies in Colorado. But we also know that the key to our success is being the best rather than the biggest. We insist on treating our customers with the personal care and respect that we expect from businesses that we patronize.
5.How long does it take to get a system installed? We will begin working on the design and set up of your system as soon as you contact us. We can generally meet with you to perform a security analysis of your location the same day you call. The system installation is usually scheduled to be completed within a week. However, we always do our best to work with customers who have emergency situations that call for immediate security enhancements.
